Creating My Sardinia
Italy Website

Never in million years did I ever think that I would be the owner of my very own website...

But here I am; writing like its going out of fashion!

I had my first computer in 2004, (I know...better late than never though!).

It seemed like forever trying to understand how the damn thing worked; what counts is that I won the battle in the end.

ADSL was finally available in the little Sardinian mountain village were I live in 2008 (they took their time!)

And that was it... I was hooked!

I had the whole world at my finger tips, yet half the time I didn't know what to look for.

On my travels through the web, the inspiration of having my own website grew...But how?

I was all on trying to understand how simple programs worked never mind putting together a well organised website, it was impossible for me!

Until...If you believe that all things happen for a reason, then this could be your turning point too!

One day in the month of February 2010, I was searching on the internet, if you ask me what for, I haven't got a clue. All I know is that one click, on a video that caught my eye changed radically what I had dismissed as impossible.

Yeap! You've guessed it... my very own website.

Me and my very own website... I still can't believe it now!

It took me 4 months of investigation, reading; I needed but mostly wanted proof that Sitesell.com wasn't just money grabbing scheme that promised the earth.

Having already fallen in to the trap of false promises, I was very dubious; was Sitesell.com for real?

Or was it going to end up like the many others I had tried... a corking headache, stress and a broken bank account!

In the May 2010 I decided to take the plunge, even then, when I clicked on the Confirm Button, I was shaking like a leaf!

I've got over the shaking ... now I am buzzing with excitement!

Although Experience Sardinia.com is a very young website and I have a long way to go; it comforts me to know that the only hurdle I need to face is time...all the rest is taken care of!

Home is where your family and work is, I've just got the added luxury of escaping to the breathtaking nearby beaches and chill out when ever fancy it!

2013 I am still here loving every minute of sharing my passions about this Island with my Sardinia website.
